East Cross Brewing christened the new fermenting tanks with a marvelous new batch of Hefe-Weisse brewed in strict adherence to the Reinheitsgebot (Bavarian Purity Law of 1516). Look for more fabulous products from the East Cross Brewery to appear at a roadside stand this summer.

Does Tim Russert kick ass or what? A transcript of his interview with George W. Bush is entertaining reading. For those of you that are short on time and cannot spare a few moments to read it, Bush says “Yeah” a lot. I know it’s not polite to make fun of anyone in one’s own blog, but even in reading the transcript I get the idea that Bush isn’t very bright. A loyal reader sent me a link for Lost In Racism. I found Lost In Translation to be an outstanding piece of cinema. I’ve actually seen it twice in the theaters now and only find it funnier and more charming. Sofia Coppola is slowing making up for her performance in “The Godfather III.” It was a splendid follow-up to “The Virgin Suicides.” There is little doubt that she will win Best Original Screenplay.
