Dick Morris Loves Sherry Rowlands

The latest edition of The Hill contains an article by Dick Morris on how Bush can destroy John Kerry in the race for president. Many of you will recall Morris as one of Clinton’s inner-cirle during his first four years in the White House as well as the guy who gut outed for having a long-standing affair with a $200/hour prostitute named Sherry Rowlands.

Morris claims that the Democrats are moving back to the halcyon-days of the 1980s when the liberal extremism of Mondale and Dukakis ruled — or didn’t rule as the case may be. Morris urges Bush to start branding Kerry as an ultraliberal as quickly as he can. Screw the positive ad campaigns. Attack. Attack. Attack. As a Kerry supporter, I find him a little lacking in the ultraliberalism, but feel he is the best candidate to destroy Bush this fall.

Before he can go on the attack, Bush must first deal with the flap he has created as his first campaign ads hit the airwaves. Images of the World Trade Center debris, firefighters searching for victims, etc. fill the screen in hopes that these shocking images will make you forget that Osama bin Laden is still at large, job creation is stagnant, civil liberties are at risk, and Iraq has not gone as swimmingly as we all were told it would.
