April Fool’s Day is always so boring. Everyone is always trying to be so clever. Today I was fired by six different people. If that wasn’t bad enough, every webpage, blog, or column that I came across had some lame joke about being removed by the government, being hacked, or being replaced by Cross and Lopez. The world is quickly becoming an unfunny place and that disturbs me.

Air America launched recently. As we were abroad, we missed it. Let me tell you that I’m glad we did. It’s horrible. Virtually unlistenable. It takes me back to my college radio days. Not my college radio show, but others that I won’t mention out of respect for their privacy. Janeane Garofalo is awful. I’ve been listening for about thirty minutes now and I have yet to hear much commentary. Mostly they are bitching about the equipment not working. They can’t seem to get the commercial breaks right either. And the commercials are worse than any of the stuff you find on sports talk stations about the See Clearly Method. Rush Limbaugh is sitting somewhere laughing at us.
