I’m not usually one to take a look at who reads this stuff, but every once in a while I break down and check the logs to see who has been poking around stealing my best stuff. One of the problems with looking at that information is the focus can subconsciously shift in order to pander to one’s audience. While I won’t make the mistake of trying to be the number one fan site for Uri Geller like I did back in 1996, I have to admit that I’m intrigued by some of the people who have been reading this, most notably, someone from the U.S. House of Representatives.
Okay. I suppose it’s a little far-fetched to think that Nancy Pelosi is reading this looking for recipes or a new slant on policy making, but is it so hard to believe that Dennis Kucinich isn’t looking to me to help him get back in the race for President? I don’t think so either. Seriously now, what else can he possibly be doing nowadays?
That’s probably not the best way to treat my number one fan, so Mr. Kucinich, may I call you Dennis? So Dennis, how can I help?
Actually, maybe you could do me a favor for a change. I understand that he’s your competition and all, but I was wondering if you could talk to Mr. Kerry and see if he’d slip you Alexandra‘s phone number for me. If you can get me the hook-up, we’ll call it even for the six electoral votes I got you in Hawaii earlier this year.
