The Orphan Car Show

I’ve narrowed it down to two cars. Either a 1949 Studebaker Champion or a 1930 Pierce-Arrow Touring Sedan. I have an entire year to decide, so I won’t worry myself with such decisions.

The annual Orphan Car Show is a must-see if you live within driving distance of Ypsilanti. It reminds us of a day when men wore hats and cars were unsafe at any speed. The Mayor’s Award went to a 1926 Detroit Edison electric car, but the real jewel of the show was Tucker #48.

In other news, the line was 8 on Friday. Bookies everywhere are fearing the Fro now. Okay, it was a night cornrows, but you get the idea.
