After many years of being ignored, C3PO is finally being inducted into the Robot Hall of Fame at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh . While C3PO was not officially banned from being in the Robot Hall of Fame much like Shoeless Joe Jackson is banned from baseball, he was shunned much like Ferguson Jenkins was. Unlike “Jenks” who was shunned for his drug use and abuse, C3PO is just a fictional robot. Regardless, his time was long in coming even though the HoF was recently created in April of 2003.
