Just because I abstained during the vote to transfer $163,500 worth of MEDC grant monies from Water Street to the Riverside Arts Center elevator project should not be construed as me not supporting the arts. I could see how someone might make the argument that I do not like heights, but when the smear campaign starts, that’s as far as it should go.
Even though the kids at the What Is That Gallery (located at the edge of the North Washington Street entertainment district at 130 W Michigan Ave), seem to like me a lot, I want to take this time and begin rebuilding those bridges to the arts community.
On Thursday, April 3rd at the Washtenaw Community College Towsley Auditorium, Sole Full of Rhythm, under the artistic direction of Sara Randazzo will be presenting Live From Mother Earth.
