Dave Curtis Saves Ypsilanti

Comments (4) 7:45 PM posted by admin |

An article in the Ann Arbor News on Wednesday, July 9th says that Dave Curtis was recently named the 2008 Small Business Person of the Year by the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Curtis is the owner of Pub 13, Club Divine, and the soon-to-be-opening J. Neil’s Mongolian Grille, all located in Downtown Ypsilanti (for your convenience).

I think I’ve met Mr. Curtis on occassion. I did have a guy with the name of Dave Curtis recently do some painting for me. I’m not sure if he’s the same guy or not, but if he is, he sure knows how to handle a paint sprayer.

Whatever the case, kudos to Mr. Curtis for this prestigious honor. It don’t think the Ypsilanti DDA will ever have to set up clandestine meetings with him in Saline again.

The article says the Mongolian Grille will be open before September. Is it true?

No, it’s not the same Dave Curtis, but if Dave, the owner of Pub 13, Club Divine and the soon to be opened Grille ever needs some painting done, can he call you?
Gees, I’ve got a grinder if you need to sharpen your axe.
Dave’s a great positive guy, a trait to be admired and nutured by more people in Ypsi.

It actually was Dave Curtis, owner of Pub 13, Club Divine, and the soon to be opened J. Neils Mongolian Grille, that did some painting for me. And he is a master with a paint sprayer.

Dave is a very good friend of mine, and I’m glad that you support him too.
