20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Yesterday, shortly after noon EDT, Wireless Ypsi broke the 20,000 user mark. The next milestone to fall is the 10 Terabyte mark as we currently stand at 9.895540927 Terabytes.

To put this in perspective to the layman, if I had $1,158.41 for every person that has logged onto the network since it launched last year, I would have $23,253,922.34. Better yet, if I had just $0.13 for every byte transferred, I would have $1,286,420,320,510. That’s more than a trillion dollars. That’s enough money to divorce Mel Gibson’s wife almost 2,859 times. Better yet, that would make nearly 9 Water Street debt payments.

For those who are more spatial geometry-challenged, the following is a non-graphical representation of this nonsense.
