The Reverend Al Sharpton made a visit to our fair hamlet this evening. I unfortunately fell asleep and missed the fun. A few of the local kids covered the event and snapped a picture or two.

I have not been able to find how Rev. Al or any of the other candidate stand on high school work study programs, but I would highly recommend that Mr. Sharpton adopt a stance in support of South Carolina resident Laura Williams. She has been earning credit working at a hostess at Hooters. Ms. Williams wears a high-neck t-shirt and khakis, but as she develops her skills, she hopes to move into the more lucrative world of waitressing.
