Baghdad was voted the worst place to live in 2003 according to a survey. Security conerns, lack of infrastructures as well as WAR were included among the reasons for the ranking. Bangui of the Central African Republic was second worst. Last year’s recipient of the best place to live — Vancouver — was pushed to third as Zurich and Geneva finish one and two in the poll. In more light-hearted news, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King won every single Oscar that it was nominated for at the 76th Annual Academy Awards. It was, however, a little unnerving in this day and age to see the hobbits forced to sit in the back of theatre.
