In an effort to put my money where my mouth is, I dropped off a volunteer application offering to input some of the clerical information on the City’s web site. When I handed over the application, I was given one of those looks clerks give you when you are trying to rob them. Not that I have ever successfully (or unsuccessfully for that matter) tried to rob anyone. Even though the application says differently, I was told the volunteer application was intended more towards helping the recreation department more than anything.
