So I’m picking up my new car yesterday when my dealer says to me,
“I really like the new blog layout, but why doesn’t the ‘About’ part of the site offer more information regarding East Cross Street? The fact that it’s fourteen blocks long is fascinating, but surely there is more to this place you call East Cross Street.”
I thought about this for a second and asked him if I added some interesting tidbits would he knock a couple hundred bucks off of the price. As a result of our negotiations, I bring you the new ‘About’ section.
One might try and make the argument that my new car is more environmentally friendly than my previous ride. On the surface that seems to be true, but as you peel back the layers you realize that’s just an illusion. My old car would shudder terribly if it got past sixty miles per hour. It also did not have a working air conditioning system to suck away precious fuel efficiency. With the help of a dear friend in the Powertrain Electronics group, I discovered that my new car can now reach speeds in excess of one hundred and forty-seven miles an hour with the proper tweaking.
So in your face Mother Nature.
