Innovation Is Not The Product Of Logical Thought

Word on the street is that Wireless Ypsi has been nominated as Innovative Business of the Year in Michigan for 2009. The first question I was asked upon telling something this was, “Was this self-nominated?” The answer is no. Apparently this award is given by the Michigan Business Review.
As always, it’s an honor just to be nominated, and I put this up there with my 1993 Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album. I still can’t believe that Dr. John won, but I’ve moved past that.
Whatever the case, this certainly is good news. I may be having a rough time with Ypsilanti’s young voters, but I control their internet.
That’s a joke. I’m kidding. The last thing I want to do is create any more division between my more youthful constituents even though I supported what they wanted. But that’s beside the point. The point is this pretty cool.
Editor’s Note: It was brought to my attention that I was not nominated for a Grammy in 1993. I must have been confusing myself with John Hammond. This probably won’t be the last time that happens.

Congrats! The only thing is, I wasn’t aware that Wireless Ypsi was a “business” – that is a “profit-oriented enterprise.” You guys must be making more $$$ off those Google Ads than I thought!
